Meet Rupert - 5 months old

Rupert is our stunning AKC Standard Poodle from Hazel & Whiskey, expected to mature around 25–26 inches and 55–65 pounds. He is a blue brindle point phantom, and his coat will continue to lighten and reveal even more of its beautiful blue tones as he ages—each haircut shows just a little more of that striking color, just like his daddy.

Rupert is a sweet, extremely cuddly boy who adores his people while still having the independence to self-entertain. He’s thoughtful, engaging, and genuinely wants to please. Praise and attention are his biggest motivators, and he tries so hard to make his people proud.

He finds the high energy of young children a bit too exciting, so Rupert is not a match for homes with kids under 10. In a dog pack, he is naturally dominant, so he would do best with a female companion who is confident but not challenging—or he would thrive as an only dog.

Both of Rupert’s parents are UKC Grand Champions, and he carries that quality proudly. He is crate trained, dog-door trained, and is actively working on polishing his house manners. Rupert is also fully vaccinated and microchipped.
