About Us

We are a family-run Goldendoodle breeding program, where our dogs are at the heart of everything we do. With extensive experience in training, veterinary care, and canine science, we combine professional expertise with genuine passion to raise healthy, well-adjusted, and loving companions. Our mission is to bring the perfect Goldendoodle puppy into your family—a dog that embodies intelligence, temperament, and lifelong companionship.

I’m Lesli

Dogs have been the center of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a family that ran a breeding kennel in Los Angeles, I was surrounded by puppies, adults, and every personality in between. My childhood chore? Playing with and socializing the puppies—something my 10-year-old self might have called work, but it taught me invaluable lessons about trust, patience, and understanding each dog as an individual.

In 1992, we left the city behind and moved to rural Oregon, where my connection with animals deepened. I raised pigs, rode horses, cared for a pet goat, and explored the outdoors endlessly. Those experiences reinforced my love for all animals and shaped how I raise and nurture puppies today.

Raising puppies is an active, hands-on experience, and I thrive in the organized chaos of puppy raising. Each dog is treated as an individual, with attention to their strengths, sensitivities, and personality, building confidence, respect, and trust. Watching them grow into well-adjusted, happy, and loving companions is incredibly rewarding.

Our entire family is involved in the program. My six children, four of whom are adults, contribute in roles ranging from puppy care and socialization to conformation, sports, and guardianship. Jackson, our youngest, is often featured in our puppy videos—an outgoing, energetic leader who helps socialize and teach our dogs respectful interactions.

I’ve spent years studying canine communication, body language, and behavior, and I continue to grow in this knowledge every day. Before breeding my own puppies, I dedicated myself to learning everything possible to ensure our dogs are healthy, happy, and confident—ready to thrive as lifelong companions for the families who welcome them.

Our Goals: Raising Ultra Goldendoodles

At the heart of our program is a simple belief: Goldendoodles are exceptional companions. While we love Poodles for their intelligence and elegance, we’ve seen firsthand that they aren’t for every family. Inconsistent interactions from household members can lead some Poodles to withdraw, while Goldendoodles remain affectionate, social, and eager to connect with everyone in the home.

This inspired our mission: to produce Ultra Goldendoodles—dogs with exceptional temperament, high social intelligence, and strong family bonds.

Elevated Golden Retriever Content

Many Goldendoodle programs focus on F1 or F1b generations, which are often higher in Poodle content. Our approach is different. We intentionally increase Golden Retriever influence to create puppies that embody the warmth, loyalty, and playful spirit of the Golden Retriever while retaining the intelligence, trainability, and low-shedding qualities of the Poodle.

The result is a puppy that is gentle, forgiving, and perfectly attuned to family life—a true companion who brings joy, laughter, and love to every home.

Health Testing

Health is the foundation of a strong, thriving breeding program. Our parent dogs undergo comprehensive health testing, including:

  • Genetic screenings for common breed-specific conditions

  • Hip, elbow, and cardiac evaluations

  • Eye exams and other relevant veterinary assessments

By ensuring that our breeding stock is healthy and robust, we reduce the risk of hereditary issues and provide every puppy with the best start in life.

Temperament Testing

Temperament is equally vital. Each puppy is carefully evaluated through a structured program to assess traits such as:

  • Assertiveness and confidence

  • Energy level and human focus

  • Prey drive and play style

  • Touch tolerance and emotional sensitivity

  • Nerve strength and response to stress

These evaluations allow us to match each puppy to the family or role where they will thrive, whether as a beloved family pet, a therapy dog, or a service dog prospect. Our program prioritizes steady traits that define who the puppy is naturally, while supporting the growth of adjustable traits like confidence and focus.

Service Dog Focus

A cornerstone of our program is producing Goldendoodles suitable for service work. By breeding for temperament, workability, and confidence, some of our puppies are ideal candidates for roles such as:

  • Emotional Support Animals (ESA)

  • Therapy Dogs for hospitals, schools, or senior care

  • Service Dogs for individuals with mobility or medical needs

Through our curriculum, we assess each puppy’s aptitude for work, resilience to stress, and ability to focus on their handler. Puppies with high human focus, strong nerve strength, and the ability to remain calm in unpredictable environments are often the best fit for service or therapy roles

Our Commitment

Every decision we make—from breeding selections to early socialization, enrichment, and temperament testing—is driven by our desire to produce Goldendoodles that transform lives. Our puppies are not just pets; they are lifelong companions who bring warmth, connection, and joy to their families.

By focusing on health, temperament, and high Golden Retriever content, we strive to raise Ultra Goldendoodles that exemplify the best of both parent breeds—smart, loving, low-shedding, and emotionally attuned to the families they join.
