Velma is a confident, affectionate Golden Retriever with a playful, people-oriented temperament and an exceptional natural off-switch in the home.

She comes from Champion show lineage with a thoughtfully maintained low coefficient of inbreeding (COI), supporting our focus on long-term genetic diversity, structure, and overall health within the breed.

Velma is currently just one win away from earning her Championship title and will be spending the coming year continuing in both conformation and performance work.

She is highly social and naturally enjoys being involved in everyday life with her family, while still maintaining the ability to independently settle and appropriately entertain herself when needed.

One of Velma’s most notable traits is the intensity of her expression and eye contact. She forms very strong connections with her people and naturally engages in a thoughtful, focused way that makes her feel deeply connected and highly present during interaction.
