Oregon’s Painting the Night Sky

English Goldendoodle Female

Service Dog & Performance Bloodlines

About Manhattan

Manhattan represents the combination of two qualities we value deeply in our breeding program: temperament and trainability.

As the daughter of Stella, a foundation English Goldendoodle who now works as a service dog, and Whiskey, a Grand Champion with an extensive record of performance accomplishments, Manhattan comes from generations of dogs selected for both companionship and capability.

She is exceptionally people-focused and forms strong bonds with her family. Calm, affectionate, and eager to please, Manhattan possesses the kind of temperament that makes her enjoyable to live with while also providing the foundation for advanced training.

Whether she is exploring outdoors, playing fetch, using her nose, or relaxing with her family, Manhattan demonstrates the balanced temperament and trainability that have become hallmarks of her lineage.

She is highly intelligent, naturally engaged with people, and approaches new experiences with confidence and curiosity. Her calm demeanor, social nature, and willingness to work make her an important part of our program.

Coat & Genetic Traits

Manhattan contributes:

  • beautifully relaxed, silky coat texture

  • fully furnished coats

  • English Goldendoodle expression and structure

  • silver-tipped black coat creating a striking blue and silver appearance

  • carries chocolate

One of Manhattan's most distinctive features is her soft, silky coat. Unlike the denser or woolier textures often seen in other lines, her coat has the relaxed texture that many families associate with well-bred English Goldendoodles.

Her coat is genetically black, but the silver tipping throughout creates the beautiful blue appearance for which she is known. This unique coloring adds visual appeal while maintaining the coat quality and furnishings we value in our program.

While Manhattan's coloring is certainly eye-catching, we value her most for the temperament, trainability, and coat quality she consistently contributes to future generations.

Continuing Stella's Legacy

Manhattan is part of a line that has had a meaningful impact on our program.

As the daughter of Stella, one of our foundation English Goldendoodles, she carries forward generations of carefully selected temperament, trainability, and human focus. Stella's transition from breeding dog to working service dog reflects the qualities we strive to preserve through future generations.

Combined with Whiskey's Grand Champion and performance accomplishments, Manhattan represents the intentional blending of companionship, trainability, and capability.

We are excited to see her influence continue through future generations of Oregon's Legendary Goldendoodles.
